What the fuck do subway do to their bread that makes it so amazingly stodgy and carboard-like.
Foul.
I would rather go to McDonalds, at least it knows its terrible

didnt you lot see the programme on C4 last week about the salt and fat content in take away sarnies from subway, pret, greggs, m&s & boots?
subway is by far the worst culprit. 92% of their sandwiches have ridiculously high salt levels and about 65% have stupidly high levels of fat.
for example, if you bought one of those 12" meatball subs it has the equivilant to 19 packets of ready salted crisps....THATS RIGHT 19 PACKETS in one sarnie.
disgraceful
peace

Very disappointed in this one.
You can taste a slight jerk kick, but all in all it's pretty lame. All subways taste the same whatever shite you put in them.
Now if we're talking about Walkerswood Las' Lick Jerk sauce, now that's a different story altogether.

A lot of people in my office indulge themselves at Subway.
They often tell me the ingredients are 'fresh' and that it's 'made right in front of you'. Then I get told it's 'healthy'
I can understand people not giving a shit about what they eat from to time, but there really is no excuse in being ignorant about what you're putting inside yourself 3 times a week.
Re. Levi Roots. Two parts parts reggae reggae sauce to one part HP. THAT is where it's at!

How fresh is bread that is baked from frozen dough.
How fresh is salad and meat that is vacuum packed then shoved in those fridges in front of you.
What a load of shit.
I have to admit, when one opened up around here I did frequent it for a couple of months at work, never under the illusion of it being healthy.
But now I have grown to be repulsed by it.

Naive idiots.
Levi's done well though. The sauce is rather nice. Mans done well (with Peter Jones) to get it so high profile so quickly.
Staying away from Subway's since that programme last week.

This is true.

He certainly has. Bear in mind Peter Jones is probably raking it in as a result
Moving on from Subway, I tell you what is good (UK heads)... Ainsley Harriot's cous cous
I know he's an irritating sod, but don't let that put you off. This is serious business.
