What's been on the continuing, pandemic aural radar??
I've been listening / watching a fair bit of Talib Kweli's podcasts lately, including a killer Chuck D interview from a few months back. I listened to New Order's "Movement" lp earlier in the week, and attempted to listen to a huge, almost 4 hour long, 1989 - 1999 "Goth Rock" compilation of mainly, western European bands, asides from a couple more, international bands included on the compilation from the era. I've never been a Sisters of Mercy fan, and YES, largely for that reason alone, the 1989 - 1999 Goth Rock compilation I listened to was utter garbage. Its on youtube if you want to check it out. lol
Other than that, been listening to Killing Joke, Show Me The Body related stuff, and deep house, garagey sets from Disclosure this past week. Cool?
