Forum rules - last revision 24/09/2005

Welcome to the Subvert Central forum. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document.
These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.

1) Use the search function before posting. Questions you have may have already been answered, and posts you make may already have been made.

2) Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.

3) Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will be moved.

4) Be nice to each other and respect the moderators. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to a moderator and if a moderator can't help you send a private message to scope

5) Do not spam. No blatant advertising. See the specific SPAM section at the end of this document for more details.

6) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated.

7) No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be crappered (moved to 'The Crapper' forum) without warning.

8 ) Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.

9) The official language is English. This is the lowest common denominator, and should be used in posts so that every member can participate in the discussions.

10) Instructions by the moderator and admin team are to be followed.

11) Be respectful of others' opinions

12) Allow your fellow members to voice their opinions

13) Do NOT deliberately start arguments. Debates are great, as long as they remain respectful!

14) Do NOT make threats or implied threats towards other members -- even if you think it's fun.

Our SPAM Policy

* Please make sure that you are posting for the good of the community, not just for the sake of self-promotion Smile
* Surveys are not allowed, unless you have been given permission in advance from a Site Admin
* Do NOT use the Subvert Central community for the purpose of 'spam' or excessive advertisements! This includes forum posts, private messages, or PMs to other SC members
* Our moderators reserve the right to edit or crapper any posts they consider to be 'spam'
* If we find that you are spamming our community, you will be warned by a Moderator or Site Admin, and repeated violations may lead to the removal of your Subvert Central account

  Censorship .............
Posted by: Altered Ego - 4th November 2002, 12:40 - Replies (12)

To be more specific Film Censorship ......

This is a subject that has always intrested me for the following reasons....

1) Why do they allow such losers to hand out the certs ??

2) Why do they deem films unsuitable and then release 10 years later when they make little or no impact as the director/writer had previously intended.

3) All the films they usually ban with are extra gory zombie flicks or films that contain sensitive subjects. At the end of the day no one forces anyone to watch anything, and on top of that all the things such as rape and mass murders are dealt with on the news and it is almost part of everyday life now

Sorry to be almost serious for once it was just puzzling me !!
