How to remove Wildtangent Spy/Adware? - denaris - 23rd February 2005
Anyone know what util I need to remove this? Spybot does a half hearted attempt at it and ends up with the Wildtangent program chucking up an error of unable to find a certain file when I 1st boot into Windows.
I know there was some recommendations a while back for spyware removal, but I can't be bothered to look!
Help please...

Yeah I did the registry hack Wilsh, I normally stay away from messing about with the registry but it was very straightforward when I did it.
The remove AIM and install GAIM!

you can always backup your entire registry before making any changes.
when you're using regedit:
register -> export registerfile and set the export range to the whole register (might be that some of the translations aren't 100% correct since i'm using a dutch windows
)if you screw up that way you'll always have a backup
