sitting on the fence: Iraq Vs USA+UK

I ain't too sure about this. The only thing I am sure of is that everyone of us is un-informed unless we are Blair. I mean Saddam Hussein is a sick fucker, but at the same time I don't like the idea of how you can just step foot in another country and start laying down the law - thats bullshit. I mean look at what Colonialisation has done to the world - the one good thing that has come out of that though is that a lot of places are really multiculural which I quite like.

The thing is I don't know whether I'm against the war or for it. I think a lot of people that are against it are just trying to be fashionable - a lot of the anti war folks keep saying innocent people are going to die etc... but the thing is they are only looking at that, they are not actually giving a shit about the people living there - they don't know shit! I was in B'ham town a few weeks ago and there were protesters out there, I picked up a leaflet - on one side it had the usual don't attack Iraq stuff going on, and then on the other it had all this Muslim fundamentalist shit going on, they're just being manipulated - I mean how weak are their minds not to see that! At the same time, the US has got a lot of shit going that no one knows about and that fucker Bush, I wouldn't trust him with nothing, he's a sneaky bia-ia-iatch, and everyone can sense that. And its not like the UK is all innocent either, but I think we have to put some trust in Blair - he's more knowledgeable than any of us are, and he's got better experience. It was on the news a while ago that the US had an opportunity to kill Bin Laden before the twin tower shit, but they didn't - and look what happened. It's obvious that Saddam is a sneaky fart, so they should cap him. It's weird because there's been so much stuff on TV, as we all know, and to me it seems like Iraqui's want a war so they can get rid of Saddam - there was a program on last week and this woman from the middle east and she was saying to let Iraq sort its own problems out - which is fair enuff, but I don't think Blair would intervene unless there was some mad shit happening. It's so easy to diss people like Blair, but at the end of the day he's interest is in the UK and the people of UK - I think I trust him enuff to make the right decisions - even though I'm not sure as to whether war is a good or bad thing.

But I think those people that are just being 'fashionable' or think they really care for the people in Iraq are weird - if you care so much why don't you stop going out, buying your rich shit and fly over there and help the people. There was this stupid grandad that was flying over there and he was just pathetic - he's got a wife, kids, and grandkids - why can't he just stay home and look after his family instead of doing the 'hip' thing - its pointless. I think these people aren't helping peace or any negotions at all, they're just screwing it all up. I mean this grandad went their and started pulling out his Bible and Quaran, and it looked so pathetic with his William Shakespear books - it looked like it was just an act and he wanted to be perceived as being really cultural or something.

I'm still pretty confused as to whats right and wrong with this war stuff, but I'm just putting my faith in the Government whether it seems stupid or not I don't care. I don't mean to be disrespectful to those who genuinely want war or peace - I repect that whether it conflicts with my thoughts/feelings or whatever, but I'm not into these idiots that just don't have a clue, want to pick a leaflet and listen to anything else and just want to be fashionable and feel like they are part of something - cos thats bullshit.

Another thing is with 3D, he's obviously just doing it to sell albums!

Hope no-one thinks I'm fucked up, I'm just airing my views, I wouldn't have but it seems like everyone is just saying the same thing and bigging up each others bums. I might change my mind tomorrow, who knows - but I least I'm writing what I feel is real shit and not some BS.

theres some good points in there. but one thing you mentioned is the 'cool' protestors, that actually know nothing about the issue. they are the mindless mass. if they supported war, they wouldn't be any better informed. it is true that they are being manipulated. but that is how the public opinion game is played. both sides place their arguments to the public, and the public decides... however well informed they are.

pre emptive war is the danger. it goes against everything that britain has represented for the last 90 years. many of germanys ww2 generals were charged with crimes against peace. a pre emptive war against iraq would open the u.s and u.k. up to the same charges.

another interesting similarity to ww2.... Germany invaded poland on the grounds that they feared poland was going to attack them. in the west this was concidered laughable, and dismissed as a hittlerism. but since then, it has come to light that poland's army was actually deployed aggressively. papers have surfaced in france relating to polands aggressive military policy and their fear that germany would have to be contained sooner rather than later, they had contingency plans to cross germany and make straight for berlin before germany could react. it is a fact that poland had over 50 divisions(nearly a million men) based in foward undefendable aggressive positions. a fact that made them easy for germany to round up, in massive hauls. it was their aggressive deployment that led to their demise, as their army was based in difficult to defend terain close to the german border... and massed together rather than spaced out in any defensive line. while it is easy to dismiss minor details, especially once we look at what germany went on to do... it is easy to see the comparrison. poland didn't attack germany, and they may never have done.

obviously, germany isn't the united states, hittler isn't bush by a long long way, poland isn't iraq. but the lessons are real. wars have a habbit of spreading.

the world was lucky that israel didn't get involved last time. can we trust them again???
