Well, I don't control the credit card system. This is run by Worldpay who have a pretty stringent antifraud system. What you must make sure of is:
1) You enter your billing address the same as it is on your bank statements.
2) You don't forget to include the correct postcode and country.
3) You include the correct security key (3 digit number on the back of your card).
4) You don't put spaces between each 4 numbers (how it looks on your card). You're sposed to write it as one whole number.
Another issue, especially recently, is that people have been sent "chip n pin cards" by their banks to replace their old ones (me included!!). If you received a chip and pin through the post 2 months or more ago, it's likely your old card has expired.
Again, I have limited control over the Worldpay system. I'm not even allowed to see your credit card number (in case I'm dodgy or something). If you have any serious probs though, hit me back and I'll file a complaint or something.
Seriously, if you're in the UK and wanna pay by cheque. I'll put one aside for you, now.
Easy,
Nick
