The problem with d&b is it's too damn brilliant for words.

the problem with d&b is that people try to dissect it too much instead of just listening to it...

ehhh scart, it's not like you haven't participated in plenty of these discussions, ya big twat. i'm cool with the big dissections like once a year or so... like talking about a crazy ex-wife who roped you along for years back in the day.

he who casts the first stone something about sin blah blah blah, i kind of take that for granted. anytime i make fun of other people i'm ultimately projecting my own flaws onto them as a means of self-understanding.

Not enough people like Scart Ridge.

Also, not enough people doing somersaults and licking shots at raves.

    Yeah, I remember that.

My ex-flatmate used to live with the Napalm, but then he jumped out of a second storey window, so yeah, um, sorry, I appear to venturing off into a surrealist ramble...

buy my charity cd and absolve all your sins...

(theres only one dnb tune) oubleteef:

but yeah im sick to death of the whole everything was great in 199(insert favourite number).

people forget that for every classic there was 20 shit tunes released as well, even then theyve just been forgotten (by all but some anyway).

    people made amazing music then

people make amazing music now (not nec. the same people or music but there you go).

stop whinging about the past, its an insult to anyone producing now. and theres fucking tons of great music out there.

dont forget, 90% of everything is rubbish (even in 1995).

ahem, sorry, mini ramble, just back in from work,

hi scott, hows the band going ?

hi paradigm X! we're playing an all-ages show on saturday and i'm excited to be playing some music FOR THE KIDS!!!! we lost all our momentum on recording our album, so we decided it was because half of the tracks were boring us by now, threw them out, and have been writing a bunch of new stuff. it's been an amazing couple of weeks musically...we wrote out a tracklist last monday where we hadn't even PLAYED most of the tunes on it, just talked about them and sang hooks, and now they've mutated into fully-fleshed entities. my favourite one right now is called 'lettuce doesn't cry'...an epic, majestic, almost medieval ditty about the superior morality of vegetarianism. all of us eat meat, but it's not irony because i don't know what our intended meaning is
