Got run over last night

Was the victim of a hit and run last night.

Got off luck I suppose, just cuts and bruises on my legs. It is painfull and my body aches.

When I got up from being hit the car was at the traffic lights waiting to turn right as if nothing had happened, so I hobbled over and started banging on his windows shouting "what the f*** are you doing?" and he just drove off!

Unfortunatley did not get his reg! Have reported it to the police and have to go and make a statement later.

I was crossing between cars lined up for traffic lights, they were all stationary, I looked the other direction and the road was clear, what I didn't expect was a car comming the wrong way on the wrong side of the road over taking the cars at the light to make a cheeky right turn. So didn't even see the car untill I was being hit. As I stepped out from inbetween the stationary cars I was taken out.

@ Jason Os, my dad is a nurse and has checked it out, I did not hit my head so I think they are all just superficial injuries on my legs, they bloody hurt though!

those in stationary cars at the lights must have seen, it was dark thou.

After he drove off, I realised I had lost a shoe and it was in the middle of the road, went to pick it up and then my bus came so I just jumped on. I was kinda shook so was not thinkin properly. In hindsight I should of stuck around to get witnesses.

With a bit of luck the incident should have been captured on cctv, there should be cameras at traffic lights, hopefully the car number plate will have been visible on the cctv.....
