New ESP artist: D-BRIDGE (Exit Records, Metalheadz, Soul:r)

we are delighted to announce that we have taken on D-Bridge. As a drum’n’bass artist D-Bridge has shot to fame in the late 90s through his participation in Future Forces and then Bad Company. However nowadays, he is pursuing a rather different direction, so you will not only find him booked at mainstream events, but equally also at more liquid and headzy clubs/rooms. This reflects D-Bridge’s versatility as a great transition DJ, who is able to seemlessly switch a night’s musical direction from a soulful vibe to heavier beats. In the past 2 years D-Bridge has also released music on labels including Metalheadz, Liquid V, Shogun Audio, Soul:r, Quarantine, Bingo, Creative Source, and has collaborated with the likes of Calibre, Commix, A.I., Concord Dawn, D’Kay, Jenna G and others.

2007 has become a year marked by new developments for Darren and his label Exit Records. He has just returned from Bristol to live in London and he has started releasing non-d’n’b music on Exit in the form of the Black Pocket series which features his brother Steve Spacek, an acclaimed artist in his own right. We will be trying our best to nurture his ambition to keep things versatile, by also venturing into other styles, and booking eclectic Exit Records / Black Pocket showcases with dnb as well as funk/soul/hip hop sets all in one room.
