    Finsbury Park

    Wossit like? Dodgy? Nice?

The good lady has the option of moving into some sort of grad student accomodation block there, but we're both clueless provincials and have no idea what the area's like...

Not particularly nice, nor not overly dodgy. Though it's been many years since I've been there

I live down the road from Finsbury Park. It's alright, a bit dirty, feels a bit run down in places, but round there, it all kinda merges into one big area, with Stroud Green, Archway, Stoke Newington, etc etc. Good transport links - Victoria and Piccadilly get into the centre quick and there's the WAGN line as well. Not far from Arsenal's ground too, if you like that sort of thing.
Big mish-mash of cultures - big Afro-Carribean and Turkish communities
