you really succeed on both areas with this one. i listened to it a lot and it's as seamless as it sounds fat.

of course everyone with an avalon could do this

end results will be very similar whoever does the work yes, but you can specify a preference for either of us (subject to current workload, you might not necessarily get your first choice, but you will get good results!).

on larger projects we likely will work together

sounds amazing! this tune was already released on a limited edition of vinyl some years ago. i have the vinylmastering of it from a very good and etablished german masteringstudio. and mate.. yours is better!! your mastering is much more well rounded. on the other mastering they cut out some important frequencies from the drums and i never liked this.

Just found out that that tune above ^ cost somewhere in the region of £135 (including test press, admittedly).

ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE POUNDS

I've heard it too, and without wishing to sound up my own arse, the one I did is quite obviously better. By which I mean they missed THE most obvious correction that needed to be done!! Even assuming the test press is 50% of the price (not likely), it is still THREE TIMES more expensive than I am. I'm clearly far too cheap, but there you go.

Sorry, but I am reeling! £135....

I wouldn't have thought so - it's missing the point if we are too expensive for 'normal' people to afford, at least for now.

However, you can get actual proper really very good 'pro' results out of us for a fraction of the price. That's more what I am getting at.

in other other news, ive finally got all the new converters and audio i/f delivered, as well as an additional neve clone pre/eq so will be pushing some juicy neve goodness on the master.....rigging it all up 2nite, so will be back working again in the next couple of days

Converters sound great. Not hyped at all, but definitely a noticable improvement in the soundscape - separation is easier to discern and hence create. Still getting used to them though.

As for the clones - 1 word - cream
