just saw on discogs how much it goes for..crazy

also lol..not sure if it's just my copy but the quality on the remix is a bit shit on the top end..

    i got 2 copies (maybe 3, can't remember).

all of which skip in the same exact spot in that last breakdown.

i think marlon mentioned to me once that his 2 copies skip there too.

i think one of mine doesn't skip every time though. weird stuff.

    interesting, spooky tune tho!

Swapped this for Music Takes You waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back. Gutted at the time, naive 14 year old thing to do but boy I don't regret it one bit now.

yeah - original was no slouch at all !

Use to hear it LOTS on old mixes... I didn't actually hear the yellow vinyl amen remix till a few years ago.

Isn't there a more laid back Dj Hype mix too ? Think I heard it on that Jungle Mania compilation yeeeeeears ago - was good too !

there's a decent one that came out in the late '90's too, on labello blanco, with a boymerang break in it.

Yes I remember this tune well.

It hit the shops around Dec 1993. I bought mine in Wax City in Croydon and remember commenting to Jon (the owner) that I had never heard anything like it in my life!
    - it was true! that tune was truely revolutionary!

I don't think anyone even attempted to play with the amens even similarly until maybe 1995. Way ahead of its time, and yes, underplayed (but was getting *some* decent cainage on Kool FM around its release time)
Don't think it spent any time on dub either - straight to wax for this release

And yes, once again I used to own it but has somehow evaporated from my collection
must have been quite a while back now, come to think
