    It's quality dak.

Even with 'Atlas' suggesting he was heading in a direction like this for this album, it was hard to see this sound coming exactly. It does have elements that remind me of 'Layering Buddha', but also lots of dubsteppy percussion.

He didn't use compression on the album either, so the way the sounds sit in the mix is part of the listening experience; and that makes it kind of fun to mix with other producers' tunes.

'Infinite Snow' has a nice sub-line to it. 'Void' is a kind of nice tune, but with an undercurrent of unsettling atmosphere.

    quality indeed
I think he was trying to make this album lean more in the direction
of Gravity/Cinemascope that or he was trying to take those ideas further

Is this the one with the ball bearing style sound in it, similar to Aphex - Bucephalus Bouncing Ball?

Wicked tune if so, stood out when i listened to this the other night good stuff!

big piece on Robert Henke in the new Wire, with him looking like a right geek.
New album does sound rather good.
