Bustle Beats - new Subtle Audio sub-label...

The label will be similar to Subtle Audio in some respects (ie, there'll be plenty of breakbeats) but the tunes will be more obviously dancefloor orientated and (even) more overtly oldskool influenced than those on Subtle Audio.


This project is basically a way for me to indulge my love of all things oldskool Jungle while also creating another outlet for artists making breakbeat heavy Drum & Bass.

The artwork is going to be quite reminiscent of the style the early 90's (as the logo might suggest) and all releases will be pressed on 10" vinyl.

There will be a illustated cartoon series by Louisa Donnelly running over the lifetime of the label.
It will feature the artists who make the tunes on the label along side a host of other characters (earth dwelling and otherwise!).
We'll be telling of the struggle to keep Jungle alive and the lengths that Junglists have to goto to do so ... stay tuned for more on that !

Each release will be limited to 250 or 300 pressings (I have another few days to make my mind up on that!)

All tracks have been mastered by LXC.


Test pressings are completed and I'm just awaiting delivery at the moment, so the full pressing of these releases should be finished early in January.


Will be posting pre-orders for these 10"s aswell as the next 2 Subtle Audio releases (by NCQL & dgoHn) in the next few days - will get the info up very soon, basically once I hear that the test-pressings sound okay!
