Subtle Audio / Bustle Beats :: 4 New Vinyls! NCQL/dgoHn/Equinox/Nebula/LXC/Senses

We at Subtle Audio are pleased to announce our first new vinyl releases of 2012 by a newcomer called NCQL and a Subtle Audio stalwart called dgoHn.

Not only that, we're also very excited to finally get a new sub-label project up and running - 'Bustle Beats'.
This project is a little late in getting off the ground, but we like to take care with everything we do when releasing music is concerned and (as you're about to see) we took the time to get the artwork exactly as we wanted it... hopefully you'll agree that it was worth the wait !

Bustle Beats is a tribute to an era within the history of D&B / Jungle that I still buzz about even now.
It will be even more oldskool-centric than Subtle Audio has been over the years and will have a bit of a rougher edge to the sounds in general.
Though it will be very influenced by the old days you will certainly be able to hear how the new generation of producers have put their own stamp on the Jungle / Breakbeat style.

The Bustle Beats series will be pressed on 10" and will feature a cartoon series penned by Louisa Donnelly which will run over the lifetime of the label. See below for parts 1 & 2 of a story featuring Nebula, Equinox, LXC & Senses, an evil dictator, a band of Jungle loving aliens and other random doodled creations

All 4 vinyls (300 pressings only per release) as well as limited edition Subtle Audio Sweatshirts and Bustle Beats T-Shirts are available now from - http://www.subtleaudiorecordings.com/shop


Orders will be shipping from Monday February 20th, which means you'll be getting the new beats ahead of the general release through ST Holdings. Bustle Beats 002 for example won't be released till early April.

yeah, was trying to sort some out ML but in the end I couldn't get them in time and decided to post the bundles without them as I thought the vinyls were going to arrive mid-Feb.
Now the pressing plant is saying it will be the end of next week before they ship them, it seems I could have taken some more time to organise digital bonuses.
Maybe I can put up a free download or something ...

Haha, yeah the Subtle Audio 12"s are sitting around since Xmas at this stage ! First it was the ambitious artwork that delayed the Bustle Beats stuff... now the pressing plant are running behind schedule.
Anyway - NEARLY there.

There will be a few copies coming to Montreal + there's an exhibition of the artwork (in a large scale) in the Atom Heart record shop right now - running till the end of March

+ I've contacted a club about a possible Bustle Beats launch night - hopefully that works out for the end of March

was meant to get stock by the end of Feb, then it was meant to be the end of this week... now I hear there's a further delay and stock won't be shipped till the end of next week at the earliest.
this is really dragging but there's not much I can do !
