MPC-1000 (help if possible)

Ive recently resurrected my mpc (new pads & os) but cant get it to load the programmes.
the samples are there, so are the sequences but its not loading the samples to the pads..

any idea how i can sort this out?

its the official OS and not the JJ OS.

any help would be grand

got it working! kind of. everything seems to be playing at very low velocity... which is odd. even tho its full in the step sequence bit.
