Yes exactly, however, I take the blame for at least some of the influence that has been gathering around that god damn word lately. People use it for a genre name, I used it to describe what I liked pattern-wise listening to breakbeats, drums, bass, and melodic soundscapes.

mate this is of the essence of what i was trying to say yesterday, its all the same get over it, i so prefer listning to dj's who play a bit of everything and going to nights where they mix and match whatever.. its this segragation that makes electronica end up so ridiculous..

shit i would probably go out alot more if there were event that tried to be a bit more freeform, who cares if the occasional clownstep track is played or the occasional no bass all drums drumfunk track.. if its all and everything more people would get to hear more styles and everyone would end up getting more coverage for their music.
