i'm sure you've all heard about mel gibson's movie "the passion", a recreation of the last 12 hours of jesus' life, and about the furor it's causing with allegations of anti-semitism and the like being lobbed right left and centre.

Should people be offended by religious slang..
At work I mean, office environment, if you will.

I'm not religious in the slightest, although I do respect peoples beliefs & back ground.

Me saying 'oh for christs sake' or 'oh fucking jesus' has sparked debate over the last two days. In my defence, it's nothing personal and work should exist as something that is neutral - that is what I believe. The opposing arguement; 'I find that rude'.

Hmmmm.... I understand the need for people to be civil at work. Professional, courteous, polite. O
