This is REALLY important, so anytime you pass an estate agent or whatever then go and ask for brochures, and ask if they've got anything suitable, coz often they have stuff on their books that's not in the brochures.

how about looking for an old farmhouse?

it might need some work but it'd be big and isolated so you wouldn't have any trouble with noise

you could even start a Streetbeats commune

If you fancy it my mate is an estate agent he can keep a look out for you and reserve anything that comes up he is mainly based around my area and that side of Reading (Shinfield, Grazeley etc ....) Nice and Quiet.
