1. " im a stranger here myself" ---by bill bryson...
its a pretty funny book...it actually has me laughing out to myself...its a book about the authors return to the states after living in britian for 25 years and his culture shock. its hilarious how he is ridiculing the american culture...he speaks right from my own mind in many parts
2. i am also reading "bury my heart at wounded knee" by dee brown...
ts basically a detailed history of the destruction of the American Indian during the 19th century American West, which is based on records, autobiographies and documents of the tribes involved. the events in the book are absolutley heartbreaking as well as appalling... its pretty intense, so i have to put it down occasionally for something a bit lighter (see above)
