Ah... that was unusually quick. Oops
I'm trying to think what other records I might consider, which might also fit his category as stand alone 7" singles:

Woebot Wrote:This 20 Best for FACT focuses on singles from that era which not only seem more relevant than ever before but which make a case for the importance of the single in and of itself. I have tried to select records which, though they have in some instances been mopped up on subsequent album collections, were not released as tasters for an LP. They are not fragments of a "greater work" but function as works of art in their own right. The immaculate sleeve design they all feature underscores this idea of them each being minute aesthetic universes. Their brevity of purpose is very refreshing, and I have always found buying singles to be a welcome antidote to always amassing LPs and twelve-inches.

Cabaret Voltaire - Nag Nag Nag
Devo - Jocko Homo / Mongoloid
Gang of Four - Damaged Goods EP
The Pop Group - We Are All Prostitures
Scritti Politti - Skank Bloc Bologna
The Teardrop Explodes - Sleeping Gas

though I'm not sure they'd all meet the sleeve artwork criterion Chin
these are jolly:

10. Prefects - Going Through the Motions (1980)

9. The Cravats - Precinct (1980)

8. Furious Pig - I Don't Like Your Face (1980)

7. Notsensibles - (I'm in Love with) Margaret Thatcher (1979)

6. Spizzenergi - Where's Captain Kirk (1979)

5. Family Fodder - Playing Golf (with My Flesh Crawling) (1979)

4. Killing Joke - Pssyche (1980)

3. The Tiller Boys - Big Noise from the Jungle (1979)

2. Fatal Microbes - Violence Grows (1979)

1. And the Native Hipsters - There Goes Concorde Again

pretty decent list Twothumbs (I have half of those)
