yes, and it seems good enough to me

though I don't care about mixing so it wouldn't matter to me if it was a complete trainwreck, in fact I might prefer it that way

Furry muff, but I would've thought mixing can help in terms of the context within which tracks are brought to the listener, i.e. playing something at a particular point in a mix, following a particular range of tracks, has a particular effect on your reception of that piece.

Anyway, I maybe shouldn't intellectualise the mixing too much. Let me know if you have any feedback though.
