... what does it mean ?
absolutely totally bonkers
how can Ireland score 329 against England?

Willynilly Willynilly
Adopting the England football team approach to the cricket World Cup, it seems.
For all the talk, we won the Ashes and nobody really gives a toss about anything else...

What's happened to Anderson? Baffled

and why did England send their best batsman home after the Ashes? Baffled
Cook's great, but I really think the other english dudes are better in the one day game. They didn't lose today because of their batsmen, they just fielded terribly and KOB had the knock of his life. Great, great day. Ireland has gone mad for cricket tonight.

They run those players into the ground as it is, and two extra journeys between oz and the UK to see his new daughter didn't help. It's not surprising he's bollixed.
I don't agree tbh... He travelled mid-Ashes too, and while there's cumulative fatigue, I don't think it's really attributable to that. Seems more attitude/approach related. As in, almost literally, his physical demeanour on his approach to the crease. Summink's up.

Anyway, you have to do bloody well to get 300+ against anyone. Big up dem Oirish.

No

they should have sent Collingwood home

that's certainly true Yes
I think it would have been wrong to send Collingwood home. After giving up test cricket, this was his last throw of the dice. After all he's done, he deserved a chance to show he still had it for ODIs. Wasn't he also one of the better England bowlers in the ODI series in oz? Anyway, he probably wouldn't be playing if Morgan was fit.
At least we aren't as shit as Bangladesh;

  • West Indies beat Bangladesh by 9 wickets
  • Bangladesh: 58 (18.5 overs)
  • West Indies: 59-1 (12.2 overs)
Hahaha

So how many will Bangladesh make against our bowlers on the 11th? Hahaha
That thought had occurred to me Hahaha Nervous

Quote:New Zealand 302-7 (50 overs) bt Pakistan 192 (41.5 ovs) by 110 runs

Ross Taylor marked his 27th birthday with a spectacular century in Pallekele as New Zealand thrashed Pakistan by 110 runs to go top of World Cup Group A.

Taylor, missed twice early on by keeper Kamran Akmal, began slowly but launched seven late sixes in his 131 not out.

In an amazing assault, the Kiwis hit 92 from the last four overs to post 302-7, with Taylor smashing 62 off 16 balls and Jacob Oram scoring 25 off nine.
