Read today in my newspaper (yes I am that reactonary I still read newspapers as in printed on paper thingie) that Blur will release a new album this spring. Not that I particularly care but this should be included in this thread as well.

I only know two of their songs myself, namely "Boys and Girls" (I think) and "Country house" (again I think that were the titles), which happen to be two of their hits from 1994 and 1995 when I still used to watch MTV semi-regularly.
I didn't think those songs were bad at all though, just not that interesting to lure me into Blur's work .

Well, Gang of Four have released a new album as well these days. I only read one very unfavourable review of "What Happens Next" - I can't muster the time anyways to give it a listen.....

A surprise comeback - probably not many know the following band in fact, but I was quite a fan of noisy rockbands in my teenage years and the Texan band Cherubs released some noisy beasts 20+ years ago, surprisingly they re-formed last year:

Wassup, need a doc?
I think it's great.
With almost all of the Oldboys (and sometimes -girls) Comebacks I never expect anything, Or rather, I usually expect the worst. Most of the cases I am just glad they are still alive/well
and hopefully not making complete shit-music.

On another forum (namely Drum and Bass forum - where I am only a member and never post - to be correct I only have the weekly-digest e-malied to me) there is some fuss about a possible comeback of Bad Company. I thought this may fit in here as well.

looking forward to the Bad Company reunion but slightly worried they'll balls' it up.

Loved their sound back in the day, or precisely, up to the Shot Down LP which I bought, but sold swiflty.

New studio album released this october. Technically he was never totally away from making music, and my personal history listening to his stuff is a bit of a mixed bag. Meaning, I have some best of CDs which covered lots of his 70s and 80s stuff which I happen to like.Despite the fact I am not immune to (musicsl) cheese, he sometimes got over my personal limit
Don't know anything about his music from the 1990s, 00s though.
Nevertheless I'll give this current/new album a listen .
