There's over 100K views on this thread, however that works. Rivethead lurkers & fans of related sounds on SC for 2020?
How are y'all doing?
Snowy Red, aka. Marcel Thief (Belgium), "The Beat is Over" lp, 1989
Ironically via A Picture, there's probably more New Order tribute tunes / bands today than back in '89.

This Jack Dangers, ClockDVA remix is hot. I've never heard the 2001, Banco De Gaia remix before. Ditto for the David Byrne remixes circa 1991. Wolfgang Flur "Staying in the Shadow", 2015 collab.

Adam X knows his stuff huh?
Might be decades of Adam's black crack addiction and owning a record store back in the 90's heyday.

Phase Fatale Mix...
^^ yes yes!
As mentioned, most popular, influential ebm bands of the 80's / 90's now have had a couple generational trove of tributes & emulators within the wake of their own original works. Alongside Front 242's production styles, both Die Warzau & Nitzer Ebb are obvious ones of course, often largely given the affinity to Douglas McCarthy's vocal style, & general swag I guess. ha. While my interest in Nitzer Ebb is sporadic & specific, I do respect the influence & general emulations if I do choose to partake in digesting some of the sounds. Nitzer Ebb was / is vocal dance music that has always resonated within experimental and more pop influenced takes, and imo, the Ebb style hasn't changed, it has generally been further expounded upon in places. The influence has always been a constant if you wanted to delve back into the original 80's stompers to recent sounds. For long time fans, there are new and more recent McCarthy & Harris affiliated joints over the years to dig into as well.
For overt Ebb influenced sounds, I'd recommend No Sleep by the Machine from Sweden, 2004 - present, now via Murti Records on the bandcamp, & also the band's youtube channel. Lots of music to check out. I really like some of the direct, overt minimal elements & varying bpm textures left to highlight the McCarthy style vocals. Minimal, early Ebb fans will approve. Other releases on Murti Recs worth a listen as well.
