Been away from the world/Internet for a few days and saw Code today mention it on Facebook.
Really sad news, RIP Stacks, you're a legend in these parts Icon_sad
Icon_sad Very sad news.
We had a beautiful send off for Stacks in the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin yesterday. It was a great celebration of his life. He was born in the Rotunda, his kids Clare & Charlie were born in the Rotunda and he had an exhibition within the Pillar room where the celebration took place, the President of Ireland came down and was so engrossed in his work that he was an hour late for his next appointment. And that's without all his deadly flyers and label art work! For those who don't know, Stacks designed the logo for Subvert Central.

A man of great taste. Stacks gave us all a present, he organised the poet Stephen James Smith to come down and recite one of Conors favourite poems, Dublin you Are. Here it is for you to enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE30AnPSznk

To Stacks Stacks a legend. :noclownstep:
.
Co..Cou...Could you possibly rewind and come again?
oooh and he also appeared in a Denny's sausage ad back in Ireland in the 80's which I cannot find for the life of me! I have it in my head that it is on line and could possibly have been posted on SC years ago. I've definitely seen it more recently than my childhood. Maybe it was as simple as stacks showing it to me himself.

Yeah, that was quite a service. Equally harrowing and inspiring. Was great to see you B, hope you got home safe and sound.

I couldn't listen to that because the background music and sound was so annoying. But I found a straight read version...

As I understand, he had kids? Maybe Bassbin could do a charity release for them? The guys at CreativeWax did one for Tango and the plates were gone within one day. Granted, Tango was way better known, but me thinks something like this could also work with Bassbin.

RIP Stacks

Really sad news. He did some of the artwork for Urban Decay Music too. Gone way too soon.
