NEWS ReactTest CD bought with Joey Beltram - Energy Flash track
#1

Hi subverts,
Picked up this ReactTest CD from bitd. Was inspired to make a thread cos of firefinga's Kmag one yesterday. This is like a Kmag CD, but for Berlin School Techno. Driving n heavy.
Starting with a formidable slice of Jaws bassline samples building into a block-rocking beat, the disc quickly goes deeper, very carefully into intoxicating oldskool and Chicago House vibes.

I haven't finished the disc yet, but at three quarters through its def worth plussing as a recommended 80 minute trip back in time.

The Discogs link.
One of the items only of personal worth over monetary investment; 26 years later, a disc in this series agerages 75 pence.

would highly recommend this spapshot of trancey hardcore from the late nineties on React and it's cheap as chips:

Thanks.
And Sharkey was a don. Made a lot of great tracks in the vein you describe after I gave myself some history lessons (I am 31, younger than Ben UFO).
The React stuff being so cheap is really good to have as a resource. If it was all only on vinyl still it'd be a lot more expensive.

I bought another React series CD the other day - React7... Reactivate. Trancey hardcore with the first tune coming from Jaydee (J DIlla's "Plastic Dreams"). Brings back memories alright!
