Please provide a download link if possible, as I really need some good mixes to get me through work.

TBH, I thoroughly enjoyed the all-nolige mix. I've been a fan ever since Alliance of Science 1.

Listening now, this is sweet.

Great topic idea. Loads of mixes out there, good and bad. I've been listening to a lot of hip hop of late. This 90s mix is great, its also part of a 5 part mix if you want to check out the rest.

This actually is probably the mix I have been most impressed by. Not for everyone, but Andy Votel is one of my favourite DJs

Also, though considered a techno DJ, Ben Simms is an excellent hip hop DJ. These are ace. There are loads of great hip hop, funk, soul, dub, reggae mixes by himself and Essex Rascals

Agreed, the Essex Rascals mixes are fucking great! Had a few pints with him a couple of years ago and begged him to do loads more.

Damn, some good mixes on the last page here that I have not seen before.
Thanks.
Me, I was just reading about one of my favourite Ambient DJs, Dave Michuda from Low Light Mixes. People here know I have been repping his blog for mixes since Summer 2006 and almost fifteen years on the mixes keep getting better and better.

www.lowlightmixes.blogspot.co.uk

I put the UK extension in for y'all because of the .com adware duplicity of America owned.
I do not visit many American sites because .com creates adware naturally, according to him.

We like Low Light Mixes because the mixes are also low profile. The layout of the mix structure is better than the Muttley ones I must admit. That's Dave ability, he can keep things very orderly whereas we are cluttered and cumbersome in our mixology. Someone also as good as Dave at mixes is Peter Van Cooten of www.ambientblog.net

That's a Dutch website. Peter was originally a funk DJ, and they are technically adept.

As there has been more than a raft of good mixes this year, yes we could make an end of year chart, but this year approaching the end of the decade we are going to appropriately stay in the past and free up time to check out the obviously impending grandiosity of the forthcoming "end of decade" lists that magazines like FACT, Wire, Richdork Media, do.

I can say one thing. We have been really impressed as a boyfriend/girlfriend young couple by MixCloud and their MixCloud Select function this year. I have not actually used it, in particular, only small pieces of the idea. I've dipped into it shall we say.

So to conclude I would add our top mix providers are these this year:

Dutchconzertende
Low Light Mixes
Dummy Mag Presents
FACT Presents
ASC Deep Space
Tonepoet (Spaceman's Transmissions)

A word of warning about Spaceman's Transmissions. Tonepoet is an incredibly safe internet dude but the musical constructions he mixes together create weightlessness - a mixology rare quality of always feeling anxious, blown away and in awe unlike any other mixer I've experienced. Like an extension of the now defunct Hydrogen Cafe, Tonepoet's mixes concentrate on vertigo, snapback delay and sharpshooting technology. What does this all sound like then? Really, it's like very cloudy horizons of Cumulonimbus.

And what is a nimbus cloud? Simply, from science study, pure black ice. A cloud made of pure black ice, which means pure oxygen instead of corroded ozone. So as you can imagine, the feeling of pure oxygen in music is not a path regularly trodden through.

Just our honest thoughts on the matter since you asked.
The way you get on with music, is often the way you approach yourself in relation to the music. In other words, music is a self
discovery exercise, always. One does not simply walk into Mordor, to use the LOTR famous line, the same as one does not simply
walk into a bar and order ten cans of Red Stripe and expect to go bonkers because they love the feckin' Es. You could order a
glass of water instead.
