I dunno if this is a bug in a certain version of firefox or not.. but when i installed it last week it ran extremely slow (hovers took seconds to change color)... so i returned to firebird...

Hehe, most people have moved to Chrome now (not me though).
On my home PC; Chrome is the one. Much faster.

For work though, still firefox due to the amount of plugins I use that you dont get for Chrome yet

How did people do web development before Firebug existed?
Javascript just wasn't relevant.

Not me either. Plus, I am using Opera as an alternative.

i'm getting some next level bizniz with chrome; i have been pleasantly surprised at the things that chrome will let me do...there are apps and extensions for everything imaginable and yet the browser doesn't tax the memory...i can run a clean audio render while doing four other things even on a notebook, etc. -it appeals to my minimalist sense and never quits, i get shit done...
I have chrome installed but I never use it
I use Chrome and Firefox back-to-back, but Firefox is my main browser on PC and Chrome on phone.
I stopd usin firefox wen fireftp server wouldnt update. Kept getin bugs. Prob cos the app became so well known everybody crashed it.
I'm putting a muttleymarked on this, as I am thinking of making a SubVersion blog post about this thread. What makes it so special? Nerdery on technology works well here for me.
Reading such post from the past is good fun now

However it recalls from my memory facts, that before Firefox (which I started to use somewhere in 2003-2004) there were no tabs option in IE (which are now one of obvious features of any browser). It's interesting how quickly we get used to such tiny changes which makes our life easier.
Quote:BookLink Technologies releases the InternetWorks web browser, the first browser to feature tabs. This is still 1994, mind you.

But yeah, Firefox made the tabs popular.
Almost exclusively using Brave Browser these days. Absolutley craushes Firefox. Also better than Chrome.
