Hello all
Following on in the footsteps of Latent Notion, we're back with our
fourth release by Genetic Sequence aka DJ Mattrick.
Promos and general release will be hitting the shops on the dates listed
below (with any luck) - both wil be full monochrome artwork.
Promos: Monday 4th Dec
Full release: Mid Jan 2007
Side A) - Decompression clip
Genetic Sequence returns with another evolution in his sound, this time opting
for bleaker and deeper textures. Whirring, rolling drumworks interwoven with
creeping bassline dynamics evoke intense sub-aqua pressures. Another slab of
unrelenting deep Atlantic funk from the ever impressive Transmute camp
Side AA) - Weirdo clip
Opting for a more off-centre approach, Weirdo takes things to the next level,
advancing forward via a mixture of rigid beats and drawn out percussion.
Beautiful, delicate pads float in the background, making way for huge, illustrious
bass stabs intent on destroying any system. One of the most original bits of
drum n bass you're likely to hear this year, whilst still remaining accessible
Coming next year on the label we have the following planned:
TMR005 - Macc
A) Nuñez
AA) Set The World On Fire
TMR006 - Cycom
A) Kickflip
AA) Stars
TMR007 - ASC
A) Confusion
AA) TBA
We'll also be launching some digital releases which will be available
from our new website and hopefully a handful of other mp3 outlets.
In the meantime, check out http://www.myspace.com/transmuterecordings for
clips and updates. I'll be adding some new tracks in the next week or so.
