Hi all,
I've been speaking to one of the writers for ATM magazine and he / they are interested in doing an article in next months issue about the leftfield / drumfunk / alternative side of D&B.
The article is my (and now our!) responsibility ... as in, someone from these parts will be writing it !
here are the requirements for the article :
(this is from the AIM convo ....)
We will need :
"2 pages (1900 words)
with assorted pics"
covering
"subtle audio
counter intelligence
warm
offshore
soothsayer
inperspective
bassbin
inta-sound
Subvert Central
Paradox labels
etc etc etc"
article should cover :
"a little lowdown on the sound
where it came from
it's revival through inp a few years ago
and where it is now"
....
So, who out there would be interested in co-ordinating this ?
i.e. interviewing the relevant people / getting photos sorted / writing the piece ??
It could be done pretty easily right here... as in any label bosses / artists / etc could type responses to questions or give any necessary info.
...
thoughts ?
volunteers ???
I think it would be good for someone who isn't directly involved with any of the labels in question to do this.
Nice one ATM for taking the interest
