man that sucks

can you move some other cards around or is it the case that is too restrictive??

i've had to do that on occasion, where one card was blocking another one's slot.

damn slot blockers.

Hahaha
lolol@ ''slot blockers''

but still No
did you wash the PC unit at the recommended temperatures?

if its been through a 60-90c wash then i'm afraid there's not much you can do. although, you could try putting the 1212M in a similarly hot wash and see if that helps shrink it a little.

the difference between the 1212M and the 1212M V2 (i'm assuming) is that the V2 has a firewire port on the back

this is confusing, but I think the zip file includes both xp and vista beta drivers

no stable release for vista yet I guess.

"Before you decide whether to install beta drivers or applications, it is important to understand that a beta release though tested for relative stability, DOES NOT have the stability of a final release version of Creative software. You may encounter problems with a beta release that could possibly result in loss or corruption of data or necessitate a reformat of the device. Beta releases are meant for testing and validation only, not for production use. We strongly recommend that you back up your existing data before you install and run the release on your computer."

however, if the card doesn't even fit, you don't have to deal with any of this bullshit Grin

http://www.dv247.com/invt/22462/ ?

A liitle more expensive. But its got pre's, which would help.

Sad thing is you can't get another card as good as 1212m without spending alot more Icon_cry
Anyone else got any recommendations at this price range?
there's really nothing else @ the price range of the 1212M.

there's a M-Audio card.... i think its called audiophille? don't remember.

all it provides are a few ins/outs i believe.

think its $100 or so.
