Side chaining and multiband compression.
These are couple of the biggest buzzword terms in production these days, but what are they and how do you use them?
I sifted through a bunch of tutorials and put together some of the best ones on the most popular platforms Cubase, Reason, Nuendo, & Logic, and posted them on my blog hope this info is useful to you guys...

something has to be enabled for
to work

and I like the word "protocols" Smile
That's the problem, they're buzzwords people like to use....not many people actually use multiband processing properly, or for any real benefit IMO....

What do you want to know more specifically.....there's some clued up people on this site.

*If you don't know how to use it.....then don't. That would be my advice.

I only really side-chain in house.
quite like side chaining on pads....

I use the compressor in Ableton and the auto filter which also has a side chain input..

adds some nice rhymic elements to an otherwise static pad....
