1993 for me would not have been the same without Face Records

Pascal & Sponge - I Got You (Ezee Boy)

Hardware - X Amount Of Shots

Hardware - Nightstalker

The Full SP - S-Capaid

Pascal & Sponge - Nosebleed (Right Nostril)

Ginetix - All Torn Up

So much sinister jungle music Nervous
Good shout. Got a few of their releases, can only remember The Full SP off the top of my head, used to play that a lot.
My favourite label Smile

Def !!!

And that Clone single sided thing, that's deadly too.

Have the Face Of Future CD compilation and most of the vinyls - great label, no Turkey's.
Torchman "Tell me" Falcon
i still play nosebleed ...BOTH NOSTRILS!!!! lol

such a phat tune / tunes.

infact a few weeks ago when i was having a chat with my studio colleague, i was talking about this very tune and basically sying that i would like to "re-create" it if you know what i mean.

i have several face racords white labels of which i have no clue what they are called or who they are by.

i will have to do a bit of discogging this weekend.

a label that has a special place in my heart

thanks for bringing it up

peace

ffs

been on my watch list for ages always £8 +
Nosebleed & Nighstalker remix were 1st two record that came to mind - sick label.

Jack Horner EP is sick, I like Mayhem - Inesse a fair bit aswell.
definitely a legendary label, tunes stand the test of time

Nosebleed brings back nuff memories a dark dark tune

inesse - Ray keith remix was a BIG tune, absolutely cained on the pirates

Nightstalker - SS remix Lovesmilie

been meaning to whack up a thread showing nothing other than a link to 'All Torn Up' for ages, been in love with that track since i first heard it on a Rider Quest tape all those years ago (bagged it on vinyl as soon as i found out what it was Xyxthumbs)

But yeah, what a good shout Rondema....! Face were hugely influential but all too often overlooked i reckon Baffled

The weirdest thing is that for some reason over the past week or so, that 'scared now' sample off Nosebleed has just got lodged in my head, to the point where i'm saying it out loud when i'm in work Hahaha but i've only checked this thread tonight, not been listening to old school etc and didn't even know the title/that it was a Pascal tune Nervous

ace thread mate, cheers Grin
"Hey guys......I know your trying to scare me.....Im scared now!" sample from Predator 2

Nice one ML Wave Never knew it was off that, even though i think i have all the other samples covered 'ya wan some ganja man'/'fuckin voodoo magic man' etc Hahaha

I wonder what the early darkside period of Jungle would have sounded like if Predator/Predator 2 and Marked For Death hadn't ever have been filmed Lol

shat, i reckon
jonny.....help me! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

do what when a gunman back me up round da corner???

etc

yada yada yada
lol
Worth noting Stylin - Internal Affairs could be considered an honourary member of Face.

I remember Pascal quoted this as his favourite tune at that time in some interview (Ravescene magazine?) Definitely got a very similar vibe - could it be this track inspired the whole Face thing Smile
