Nothing wrong about Binaural Beats, they can be used to help achieve meditative states or sleep but they won't blast anybody away like a dose of peyote et al.

I tried these years ago for meditation purposes and despite numerous attempts didn't particularly find them convincing (Certainly not like a dose of psilocybin )
So, I'm slightly confused as to why this is an issue suddenly, as I think 90% of it is a placebo effect
