Got to play at ichione and Rico wants dnb zzzzZZzzzzzzZZZ 90's dnb(Rico and his crazy ideas)
So , as I have no interesting in playing jungle/intelligent/amens . I have been going through my old vinyl and started pulling out some gems , tunes that sound fresher than a lot of the new DNB and IMO the golden age of dnb was between 97-2002 , why? well after many years of tweaking and trying to define a sound it all came together within these 5 years , it was well produced , well thought out and very cutting edge , so therefore it still sounds fresh , unlike a lot of the jungle/intelligent/amens from pre 97 which sounds dated.
So some gems I found were -

With that opening remark you made it sound like a onerous chore, that'll be why.

Are you intentionally portraying yourself as a prick?

Guys, I think Pressure meant it as "I got the chance to play at IchiOne", as in "I got to see a concert", "I got to pick the name for a dog", etc.
Not "I HAVE got to play"...
N shit.
Peace.
Pressure has fallen out of love with d&b years ago and has not been mixin it since.
This edition he will be playing 97-99 d&b stuff, it is a rare exception.
A sign of love and gratitude towards IChiOne, he would not be bothered otherwise.
Ofcourse this not obvious for everyone.
Yeah hugs and everything but bollocks to bare-faced arrogance.
Hope the night goes well though
haven't heard a set from that period in awhile. it is sounding pretty fresh

There's also people who have not fallen out of love with dnb and who'd love to perform at IchiOne

I prefer the "dated" jungle sound to this stuff.
No arrogance on my part , just arrogant assumptions on behalf on you and your mate #gobshites.

Okay I agree it's an issue of perception.. have a nice day (no teef)
dated was probably the wrong choice of words , but if you consider that there is only 3 years between the digital release and tunes like 'Secret Liaisons' and compare them to whats being made these days , the digital tune sounds way fresher.

What is the name of the break being used in red mist?
Funny, I read 'got' as 'got the opportunity to...', not as a statement of someone begrudging doing a chore.

me too
not least because it was the grammatically correct interpretation

I couldn't tell one break from the next , but i think it's the fucky Drummer?
