Where's the problem? Give your record dealer a kick in the butt, File 13 isn't that obscure. Or is it out of print?

I only have 'That Static' by Thumbnail on CD, and I'm pretty sure it isn't available on vinyl.
I just checked the website of the mailorder I often use, and it only has Bellini - 'Snowing Sun' and Victory at Sea - 'Carousel', both on CD only. Lots of feedback and "wall of noise" but a little bit slacker-ish at the same time (in a positive way), with these small melodies hidden underneath. The mp3 on Epitonic (Fate Thrills) is the most "straight" song on the album. If you want I could sort you out with some mp3s, so you can decide if you want to continue the hunt... What places have you tried apart from Epitonic and File 13 ? Have you tried the US distributors, Mordam Records? http://www.mordam.com/ And their business in this country is done through Rough Trade http://www.roughtrade.com/ RT don't seem to have anything in stock right now, but doubtless they could get the File 13 stuff for you. You can also try GEMM. They've got some File 13 listed (no SRT though) http://www7.gemm.com Also, our local store gets a fair bit of unlikely stuff. Don't know about File 13 but I'll have a look when I'm in there tomorrow. Gaaah... My head hurts
