I thought the artists were doing it 'to get the tunes out there' not for cash - seems a bit unfair that 900 quid of statto's money went to paying 'advances' IMO. It's not like other labels were gong to put these tunes out.

pretty much IMO. I doubt statto got paid for his and I didn't get paid for mine (nor do I expect to). It's up to statto though.

it would certainly help if the artists didn't get anything either
I could then sell triples for £7
maybe I'll try this for a later volume
