SB 5.005 Quadrophonia - "Quadrophonia" (12")

Nothing against Quadrophonia, they were one of the OG outfits that got me brocking to dance stuff...

...but it obviously not THE Streetbeats I was thinking of!

Speaking of which, I have an old white labelled SB001 which is a breakbeat-harcore/proto-jungle type tune...

...would this be from THIS Streetbeats stable or another label all together?!? It sounds 93-94 era?!?

When did Streetbeats first start up? I thought it was around 95-96?!? Icon_question

What is going on, and why you be so nice!

Streetbeats is one of the oldest labels in the d&b scene.
Was started by Vinyl Distribution, a sort of sister label to basement recs.

First releases were 10"'s with the VDL cat nums..

SB was the label that introduced artists such as photek (as the Truper), Source Direct (as Oblivion) and Peshay.....

Hmmm this isn't a 10"!

So what was cat # SB001 just out of interest!

I used to buy a lot of Streetbeats stuff back in Oz around 95-97 when some amazing jazz based choons were coming out...

...but I must admit I hardly ever see Streetbeats stuff in any of the Brighton stores (that's ironic right there!)...

...what stores in the area stock SB stuff?!?

should be most stores as we're on SRD but like many other labels that arent RAM etc etc we get put at the bottom of the pile.

bottom line? if you cant see our records in your local store HASSLE THE SHOP MANANGER!!!
