Question about Logic 5.1

I (like the rest of my cru) have always been a cubase user, but skycutter has recently got Logic 6 running on his Mac and been playing around with it, showed me some of the things it can do last night....and as Im sure you already know...it's the Samurai welding triad hitman of sequencers.

Now....my question is this....

The "freeze" function is what I need....baddddllly. And Im a PC user, which I beleive means I can only get 5.1 cos 6 is never coming out for Mac. Is this feature available in 5.1?

man mac g5's are AMAZING!!

a friend of mine has one with the latest ver of logic and he recons it THE shit.. he ahs been an avid pc supporter for ages but it seems OSX is pimping!

hey, I got good news for ya (courtesy of the same question i asked on another list )...

Don't buy a new Mac, use your existing setup with FX Freeze (VST plug in that freezes)

Take a look at FxFreeze (http://www.fxfreeze.com) for
a standalone package that will add Freeze function to your existing
sequencer (looks very cool and cheap too)

Cubase SX 2.0 has it as standard and Nuendo 2.0 will have it in the
next version I believe.

Also check out the sister program fxteleport (http://www.fxteleport.com) which is the shiznit if you've got a pc network (use your spare PCs as engines for plug ins with just a ethernet card.
