in anticipation of today's weak german defense i've bought an england jersey right before the start today. will sit down at the river with 20,000 england supporters and watch the game tomorrow. spotted the first england supporters yesterday on my way back from work. first i saw some pale bellies wearing beach shorts. 'those guys are english' was my first idea. and i was right. next i passed a pub with about 500 of those guys outside. 'born in england, live in england', spurs and aston villa flags. today it's been 1,000 i guess.
though if england disappoints i'll buy a portugal jersey. the team will play here next saturday and the jerseys look mighty fine.
if the portugese also disappoint i don't know what to do then. don't want to buy a brazil jersey because everyone around here has one (the team resides in the small town where i work). and a german one? no, no, no,...
