Probably due to the sharp downturn in shuttings down.

beats are there to be broken http://musicindevon.org/
Its looking ever increasingly grim for Groove.
Although his defence managed to get some US RNB singer out of a sticky Ecstasy and Coke situation which is much worse. Still, that Monsta picture is too good lol
If I had my way I'd lock up most of drum n bass.
Hard labour for em too, the CUNTS.

looks like he is going to jail for 4 years. poor guy.
whats more interesting is when he gets out, he will still think hes the don of dnb, even though everyone else will have moved on. oplin Wrote:looks like he is going to jail for 4 years. poor guy. yeap u do NOT test the arabs. they make all the rules, what arent made by the chinese.
they can keep their nancy reagan vegas
feel sorry for him if he goes down....lets put music aside for a minute, and think about his family / friends and what he is gonna loose from this.
i don't understand how this whole locking people up in a foreign country thing works
they'll only give you a visa for a few weeks but if they want they can lock you up and keep you there for years? fair enough you ought to abide by their laws but you should be deported and taken to court in your own country. i mean we're napalming people in iraq in the name of freedom and yet people who grew up here get left to rot in foreign jails because its not in our interest politically to fuck with them putting someone in prison for having skunk on their shoe is just inhumane. send the sas over and turx them up good imo tyler Wrote:i mean we're napalming people in iraq in the name of freedom and yet people who grew up here get left to rot in foreign jails because its not in our interest politically to fuck with them hahaha u dont even hv to leave home to be owned Quote:the most important deal on nasdaq's plate is the acquisition of omx, a group of nordic exchanges. nasdaq had trouble closing the deal itself, so it made a deal with borse dubai. borse dubai is buying omx, and selling it to nasdaq. borse dubai will get a 20 percent stake in nasdaq. http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2008/01/2...85709.html
Yeah it was an idiotic thing to bring into Dubai but god love him, shit thing to happen.
Co..Cou...Could you possibly rewind and come again?
heheh its crazy to me what some of the comments here are saying. He broke a law in a country with laws.
In the USA people can go to jail for marrying more than 1 person. In some countries that is accepted, why don;t they just send the person to the counrty where they are from. Basically if a counrty has rules we have to not only abide by them but RESPECT them. I think we should focus more on what we are loosing because he chose to not follow the country's rules! Is it sad that he chose to not notice? Was he unlucky? Do we forget that he is a person aswell? egres Wrote:heheh its crazy to me what some of the comments here are saying. he broke a law in a country with laws. fuck that. there is such a thing as an unjust law. first of all, weed should be legal. secondly, the drug laws in dubai are ludicrously tyrannical. the charity's chief executive catherine wolthuizen said: âwe even have reports of the imprisonment of a swiss man for 'possessionâ of three poppy seeds on his clothing after he ate a bread roll at heathrow.â... in another case, a 43-year-old man from middlesex was imprisoned earlier this week for four years after dubai customs officials used highly sensitive screening equipment to detect 0.003g cannabis in the tread of his shoe. keith andrew brown was stopped in transit from ethiopia to london last september. the amount of the drug found on his shoe would not be visible to the naked eye and weighs less than a single grain of sugar. http://travel.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life...333905.ece anyone who respects laws like that is insane. droid Wrote: fuck that. there is such a thing as an unjust law. first of all, weed should be legal. secondly, the drug laws in dubai are ludicrously tyrannical. only a fucking dope head would say that. cannabis should be a class a, skunk turns you into a paranoid spaz and a gibbering stoned fool. after years of toking that shit i'm finally free of the evil weed. hate it.
is this thread gonna tun into one of those boring "i take drugs it should be legal" arguments.?
At the end of the day Rider broke laws in a land he obvioulsy understood little about. I have no sympathies for him, he tooled out like a tool.
Bottom line is, ignorance of the law is no defence.
The maximum sentence is 4 yrs but they probably have parole. But I feel for him, his friends and family though if he does go down, especially as I assume he is a provider for his children/girl whatever? Life might not be so great for them in the near future. Logos Wrote:as I assume he is a provider for his children/girl whatever? . hes THE HARDCORE PROVIDER Ashes Wrote:hate it.
