Visage - Hearts And Knives

Just sounds like insipid, pretty boy / airhead girl music. Shame since "Fade To Grey", their 1980 breakthrough hit, was great - subtle, engrossing and contagious Synth Pop. 29 years on from the last album has done some vacuous things to them it seems. RIP nevertheless to the member who this is dedicated to.

I have no idea who these girls are, but they're just talking about films and answering questions on collaborations.

I wish to reinforce the positives of these statements. I was playing a war strategy game the first two times I listened to it and I couldn't get to the subtleties, game nature not allowing it at all. When I opened up and gave it a third chance, the lyrical idiosyncracies suddenly worked, the music had a thicker shell to penetrate against, and I began to really like it. Currently it's on to be reviewed first for my "Refractive Assuaging Musically Explained" SubVersion article. Smile
I have "Microphone Fiend" in my head tonite for some reason.

all good. dig in deep.
