Saw Guttersnipe in Nottingham last night.
Very fine.
Sort of like Lightning Bolt but even more hardcore.

That's a great name for a band.

Especially when I googled it, and the definition is:

"a scruffy and badly behaved child who spends most of their time on the street."

Peter Broderick + Brigid Mae Power gig in Jericho last night as good as I could have ever hoped. Numb bum from hard seating only issue! Such good sets by the duo. Piano, harmonium, guitar, steel drum, vocals. Indian Dhrupad style and Irish traditional style singing. Sounded like a nice cross between Grouper, Sharon Van Etten, Jonsi and Sigur Ros. I wish them all the very best. I got 3 signed records by the artists themselves!  Smile Some Gymnopedies Satie Study thing by Aidan Baker Peter Broderick and others, Brigid's record, and Peter's new album, "Partners".
