I'm considering it just so I've got a legit sequencer!
off the back of this thread i've been looking at it too.. it looks pretty amazing, i like the way you can customise down to menu content - basically you can thin out all the shit you dont need for super minimal interface.. and all the macro stuff looks class.

I need to find a decent replacement for EXS though, just a simple elegant sampler... hmmm...

might wait until they drop V4 and then take the plunge Smile
Can you use 'left click' to drag and select yet? That did my head having to use the 'right click' instead!

Good shout Xyxthumbs Is Kontakt too bloated for you?

Is there any audio stretching in it at all?

yep too many options, too many gigs of flute samples or whatever, too many buttons Grin exs is basic but just dead easy to throw a few samples in, quick envelope and away you go Smile

Apparrently the audio stretching algos in Reaper are brilliant.. i should really download it and try it out instead of this speculation Wink just dont want to get stuck into some heavy customisation if a new version is round the corner..
i'm giving it a spin right now. it's so similar to vegas (my DAW of choice for many years) in some ways that i swear it's intentional Eek

i will be buying it!
