i miss hearing detroit music in detroit =(
yeah I hear what Drexciya's saying about excluding yourself from any scenes & influences.
It's hard 2 do but very rewarding although u always run the risk of going totally insane with the constant solitude.
btw-Was there only one guy in Drexciya?

to Statto : "i only wish more dnb people would do this" - I dont think its
just a question of "would" but also of "can". Its a matter of confidence
about the music you write. If youre confident with what you do, it would
be a lot easier to break away from the scene (albeit temporarily). But,
as in all scenes, not all the musicians involved in dnb are musical geniuses,
so they need feedback, see what their tunes do in other peoples sets, in
charts, on forums etc.
to Alpha Omega : I know theres a couple interesting interviews about
techno production methods on the native instruments site, like with
dj dex, mr. de and a couple others.
to Espeekay : yes
