We are organising a marathon! Make sure to tune in this the weekend and join us for more than 40 hours of continuous live shows including a 24-hour marathon studio session from the Netherlands!
As you may know, jungletrain.net celebrates its 10 year anniversary this year. With its foundations laid in late 2001, the name jungletrain.net was adopted in the summer of 2002. We have come a long way since and are still going strong, getting ready for another 10 years of providing quality drum and bass radio!
For the first event celebrating this milestone we are announcing the 3rd jungletrain.net marathon which will kick off this Saturday August 25th, with 43 hours of LIVE shows!
The marathon is centered around a massive studio session with no less than 18 DJs stepping up and playing for 24 hours from Boxmeer in the Netherlands! Much respect is going out to our resident DJ Shapez who stepped up to organise and host this event.
The following DJs will be coming over to the studio in Boxmeer to join the marathon:
From France: Maud Glyph.
From Belgium: Tropmanga, Havoc, N-Flow and Mèche.
From the Netherlands: Arnicvs, Cerberus, Subfilter, Shapez, Fre4knc, Josh-Hill, Paludal, IdealCrash, Infest and Leonux. DJs Tyson, Trap and Multiplex, who have been playing as guests in Shapez' studio before will be joining us as well.
After the marathon, worldwide programming will take over for the sunday, going on until monday, with Dirtbox closing off the weekend.
A timetable for the Boxmeer session will be published shortly before we start on Saturday at noon CEST. The marathon proper commences on saturday morning, followed by the 24-hour session shortly after! For more information, see the schedule at http://jungletrain.net/shows
