Nice little electronica EP - little bit of house, bit on drum'n'bass, some broken beats on top of that all. I'm not sure, if any of these artists have released anything after that particular record, but all tracks sound really good, especially for that time period.
This CD-r was at my sister's place. I had already forgotten about buying this in 2001/2002, but when I found it and gave it a fresh listen, I had a smile upon my face. Part of it (maybe the biggest one) is probably nostalgia, remembering that naive but happy time of being young. And music itself is also uplifting and sounding bit naive. But it still is really good listen and finding this old record made me really happy.
As Statto said, with the amount of music I (we) all have, the percent of stuff that hasn't been listened to in over a year would have to be in the high 90s!
Awesome thread, gonna have a root through some stuff
That one was one of my first CDs I bought myself. I was like 13 or 14 years old back then. I loved it.
Yesterday I gave it a re-listen. And it still sounds great. Definitely one I will keep.

Ah, yes. Another great one somewhere on the shelves.
I have baught the 6 x Vinyl set in the autumn of 1999. Re-Listening now after years if not a decade again I am blown away what a great album it really is. Minimal of sorts, dark, strong, it kept all it's magic.

Just listened to this a week ago or so, as MP3 files in a car stereo. Haven't listened the vinyl copy ever I guess. Bought several years ago.
Was quite refreshing to give it a new listen and notice different aspects I didn't pay attention, when the album was released. Back then, local radio DJ played it almost in his sow every time, week in, week out. A classic work.
Del The Funkee Homosapien "I Wish My Brother George Was Here".
Bought this when I was 13 years old. Haven't listened to this for over 15 years if not longer. Liked it back then.
But, I loved it when relistening to it today. A very positive, well produced hip hop album, seuperbly laid back grooves, with Del having a great flow of his rapping. Overall, a surprise re-listen and well worth it.
A recent post of +Torment+ inspired me to give a listen to Bjork's "Debut".
I bought this back in '93 as a 14 year old when it came out and after years of not listening to it I gave it another run today and it's still as touching and enjoyable as it was over 20 years ago. Haven't listened to it in well over a decade.
