The newest Omni Sessions takes the listener deep into the past, the roots of all electronic music. Tunes like this lay the path open for the next generation to create what we have today, the same way the artists on this mix were inspired by those before.This is a mix recorded for a friends party where I wanted to cover as much as ground as possible from these pioneers, encompassing as many of the styles that have influenced me as much as I could in 2 and a half hours.
This was a completely unrehearsed mix for once (as is evident in parts!), I had a general idea what I was going to play but hadn't given it too much thought. part of the fun I guess
