Listening to Fanu - Daylightless CD2. Downtempo, and so good. "Dreams Are Like Water" and "My Beautiful Paranoia" have only got better with age.

"Heinaekuu" by Fanu is a completely Polar style piece of lo=fidelity instrumental hip hop. The music is sample-driven, ultimately down tempo in nature and comes from the 2018 album "Low Intensity Interval Beats". It can be discovered on Bandcamp. I am just listening to it for the first proper time now. If you're looking for real instrumental goodness, you could do a lot worse. The label is Phatventures, the beats are phat for certain and the vibe is very joyous and on the button. I get sent music from Fanu by Fanu himself, I used to talk to him in the AOL Instant Messenger days when he was having issues getting his beats out there...that's going back to around 2003 now. Have a listen, you won't be disappointed!
